Deepen RCEP agricultural trade cooperation and jointly build a new high ground for enterprises to go overseas - Digital Trade Finance and RCEP National Pavilion reached a strategic cooperation consensus

On May 13, 2026, Wang Kaige, chairperson of Digital Trade and Finance Technology Co., Ltd., Chen Wansheng, executive vice president of Nankai University Shenzhen Research Institute, and Song Luyu, director of the comprehensive office, went to the RCEP National Pavilion and RCEP Agricultural Trade Cooperation (Shenzhen Yantian) Center for inspection and exchange, and together with Li Weixiong, deputy director of the Yantian District Development and Reform Bureau, and Chen Shuo of the Foreign Trade Development Department of the Yantian District Commerce Bureau, discussed the new path of cooperation between politics, academia and enterprises to promote agricultural products to go overseas, and reached a preliminary consensus on multi-party strategic cooperation.

As the physical platform of China's first RCEP agricultural trade cooperation center, the RCEP National Pavilion is a national-level project jointly promoted by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and the Yantian District Government. The museum is built according to international, high-end and characteristic standards, and focuses on displaying the characteristic agricultural products and cultures of the ten ASEAN countries and 15 member states including China, Japan, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand. It has product display, trade negotiation, logistics and distribution, multi-functional banquet halls, live broadcast bases and other functional areas, and plans to layout low-altitude economy and smart agriculture exhibition areas, industrial incubation bases and agricultural science and technology research institutes. Relying on the logistics advantages of Yantian Port's world-class container hub port area, as well as the 30-minute global access capacity of double subways, double highways, and double ports in Yantian District, the RCEP National Pavilion has formed a comprehensive service system integrating exhibition transactions, policy guidance, cross-border logistics, supply chain finance, and international legal affairs, and is an important engine for promoting the high-quality development of regional agricultural trade.

At the beginning of the event, Zou Linling, Director of Strategy and Development Department of RCEP National Pavilion, and Wang Qinglan, Business Manager, introduced the planning and layout and construction progress of the National Pavilion to the guests in detail, and focused on visiting the low-altitude economic exhibition area, the imported national pavilion and the provincial characteristic pavilions, showing the characteristic products, advantages and the phased results of digital and platform operation.

At the ensuing symposium, all parties held in-depth discussions on topics such as "Yantian District supports enterprises to go overseas", "Agricultural trade facilitation under the RCEP framework" and "Multi-party coordination mechanism between politics, science and enterprises". Wang Kaige, Chairperson of Digital Trade Finance, systematically introduced the company's core advantages and successful cases in advanced technology empowering foreign trade development and digital supply chain system construction. Xu Jingfen, President of RCEP National Pavilion and RCEP Agricultural Trade Cooperation (Yantian, Shenzhen) Center, and Chairperson Wang Kaige had a full exchange on cooperation opportunities such as agricultural product brands going overseas, smart agricultural technology docking, and cross-border resource integration. Li Weixiong, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Bureau of Yantian District, and Chen Shuo of the Foreign Trade Development Department of the Bureau of Commerce introduced the policy support and location advantages of Yantian District in port logistics, cross-border e-commerce, subsidies for enterprises going overseas, and customs clearance facilitation. Chen Wansheng, Executive Vice President of Shenzhen Research Institute of Nankai University, combined with industrial research results, put forward systematic suggestions on government guidance, academic support, and enterprise landing to coordinate the promotion of agricultural products going overseas.

Chairperson Wang Kaige pointed out in the exchange that Digital Finance has always been committed to empowering foreign trade development with advanced technology and digital means, and the RCEP National Pavilion brings together the high-quality agricultural product resources and trade service capabilities of all provinces and RCEP member states across the country. The advantages of the two sides are highly complementary, and joint cooperation will strongly promote domestic high-quality agricultural products to go overseas through digital and intelligent paths, and drive the upgrade of the entire agricultural foreign trade industry chain. With the dual support of the Yantian District Government's policy guidance and the professional academic research of Nankai University, the work of agricultural products going overseas in the RCEP National Pavilion is expected to achieve a qualitative breakthrough.

It is reported that Digital Trade Finance and RCEP National Pavilion have clearly established a normalized docking mechanism. In the near future, they plan to further deepen exchanges and establish cooperation in the fields of cross-agricultural traceability and brand going overseas, and the introduction of overseas good goods.
